This page is a series of resources that is meant to start the conversation about the REAL and vibrant American History that was not taught in your 9th Grade History Class. Hate is bred of ignorance, when we are not taught the shared history apart from "White American History" that was in turn taught from a place of privilege, by teachers who do not question the status quo, we were set up to fail as a society. Learning the real, and often painful history of our country is how we begin to become better citizens, and members of the global community.
