This page is meant to be a resource for all our friends and family that are struggling with addiction, mental or physical health issues. Many fight their battles alone. Healthcare in this country is not built for the working class, and there can be a stigma, along with a prohibitive cost attached to many health related issues that create unnecessary barriers towards seeking preventative care or treatment. 

For those who battle addiction, AMS is a judgement free zone. A brother or sister may often relapse in secret, because of the guilt and the fear of disappointing others. We must let our brothers and sisters confide in us and hold them up as they work towards their versions of health and normalcy. This is an individual battle for most, but it doesn't need to be.

For our brothers and sisters facing mental health issues, we stand with you and will strengthen and support you. It is okay to not be okay. It is okay to experience doubt, fear and anxiety. There is never a moment of weakness, there are only varying moments of the beautiful human condition.

Brothers and Sisters who have other medical battles of any kind ahead of them, we advocate for you as well. Our subculture is built on the strength of a fighting spirit.  However, this can also create a toxic environment that does not allow  people to "ask" for help. AMS is committed to changing that for the betterment of us all, we fight with you no matter what your needs are.
